Different Coloured Lights For Different Festivities

 

There are many different festivities that occur in a calendar year such as birthdays, anniversaries, New Year, Valentines Day, Easter, and Christmas and so on and so on. Many times we decorate our homes in accordance to these celebrations but many people forget that by changing the colour of their lights they can greatly affect the look of their homes. Taking Valentines Day for example, if you are planning a romantic night with your partner or perhaps you are having a Valentines party you would dress up your home with hearts and red and pink balloons for example but then the lights and lighting often get missed. Think how great it would finish off your room if you changed the lights colour to red or pink from their usual bright white. The red and pink glow across the room would give it a great warm look, plus it’s an easy and inexpensive way of creating a grand look.

 

Another time of year people tend to go all out for is Halloween. Many people have Halloween fancy dress parties or even decorate their homes ready for trick or treaters. Why not change the colour of lights to green or even purple. This will give your home a spooky and funky glow that will look great with all the other Halloween decorations. There are many different coloured light bulbs on the market today and so start taking advantage of them. Another great reason to change the colour of your lights is Christmas, for this you could choose a selection of green and red colours around the room. The main trick of changing the lighting colour is to know which colour works best with your celebration, for example a child’s birthday party would not look great with red lighting, but perhaps you could get a globe ball or a multi coloured lights feature to give the room some vibrancy and a rainbow effect. Choose the right lights for your event and it will have a dramatic effect.
