All Florida Ceiling Fans offer 3 speed settings and are equipped with reversible motor for both summer and winter operation. For usual operation the leading edge offers a cooling effect and by reversing the flow of air this can help the recirculation of trapped heat at ceiling level.
Choosing The Right Size Ceiling Fan:
Florida Designer Ceiling Fans are available in the most popular sizes, 42 Inch (107cm) and 52 Inch (132cm) models. We do not recommend the use of less effective smaller fans especially for use in areas where heat is allowed to accumulate such as conservatories. For rooms up to 150 Sq Ft in most cases a 42 Inch Ceiling Fan should be sufficient and for areas above we recommend either a 52 Inch Ceiling Fan or multiple units for areas exceeding 300Sq Ft.
