All florida fans offer 3 speed settings and are equipped with reversible motor for both summer and winter operation. For usual operation the leading edge offers a cooling effect and by reversing the flow of air this can help the recirculation of trapped heat at ceiling level.
Choosing the right ceiling fan:
Florida Designer Ceiling fans are available in the most popular sizes, 42 107cm and 52 132cm models. We do not recommend the use of less effective smaller fans especially for use in areas where heat is allowed to accumulate such as conservatories. For rooms up to 150 Sq Ft in most cases a 42 model should be sufficient and for areas above we recommend either a 52 model or multiple units for areas exceeding 300Sq Ft.
